Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel has announced the "Vybz Island Experience 2027," a four-day, three-night luxury event set to immerse attendees in Jamaican dancehall culture. Scheduled from April 9 to April 12, 2027, the experience promises a blend of upscale travel and vibrant music, featuring a private island takeover and accommodations on Royal Caribbean cruise ships.
The event will commence with departures from Port Everglades and the Port of Miami, offering a fully inclusive hospitality model. Kartel himself is slated to headline, supported by a lineup of over 40 DJs, artists, and entertainers. Organizers have designed a structured program that balances daytime activities with curated nightlife experiences, aiming to merge music, culture, and luxury travel.
During the day, the focus will be on a private island, which will host main-stage dancehall performances, beach arenas, private cabanas, and authentic Caribbean cuisine. Attendees can also expect curated rum bar experiences, VIP yacht access, and exclusive beach environments. As evening approaches, the festivities will transition to the cruise ships, where themed celebrations, celebrity DJ-led sessions, and after-dark entertainment will continue into the night.
This ambitious venture marks a significant development for Kartel, following his release from prison in 2024 and a series of sold-out international shows throughout 2025. The "Vybz Island Experience 2027" is positioned as a premier luxury dancehall and private island event, offering fans a unique opportunity to engage with the genre in an exclusive setting. Early access registration is currently open, with tickets already available for purchase.
