Irish singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe has pulled out of Ed Sheeran's 'Loop' tour, joining a growing wave of supporting acts who have quit in solidarity with rapper Macklemore. Macklemore was dropped by the Messina Touring Group following pro-Palestinian remarks made during his performances at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Following the rapper's dismissal, acts including Finneas, Beoga, and Lukas Graham also withdrew from the lineup, leaving the tour completely without openers. While Ed Sheeran stated on Instagram that the decision to remove Macklemore was made entirely by the tour's promoter and venue owners, departing artists emphasized that voices speaking out against oppression and for Palestine must not be silenced by billionaires.
