The concert is presented by Ras-I Musique and Niche Entertainment Group, with Red Stripe as title partner. According to the Jamaica Observer, the debut staging will offer an intimate concert following the release of his third studio album, Heart of Love.
The event's title draws inspiration from his previous album, Kingman, and his latest project, which explores themes of love, perseverance, spirituality and personal growth. Released on May 15, 2026, Heart of Love features 13 tracks and collaborations with Kabaka Pyramid, Govana, Khalia and Nesta. The album explores love in its romantic and spiritual forms, alongside themes of perseverance and personal growth.
Ras-I said the concert is about bringing people together to share in the music. "Kingman Live is about bringing people together to share in the music. Whether they know the songs by heart or are just discovering Heart of Love, I want everyone to feel part of the experience. Come ready to sing with me and enjoy some good reggae music. I want people to leave still singing, with a lighter heart, and even more love for reggae," he said.

"Reggae is such an important part of who we are as Jamaicans, and what makes it even more special is how it connects people from all walks of life. We're looking forward to a great night of reggae music, people coming together and enjoying the experience with a cold Red Stripe."
