Parris Jordan, managing director of HVS, says increased lender participation at the upcoming Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference and Operations Summit (CHICOS) could help Bahamian developers connect with financing partners.
Jordan noted that banks are attending in greater numbers, encouraged by strong hotel performance across the Caribbean. He cautioned that developers must bring credible projects and their own equity, as meetings do not automatically result in immediate transactions. The 15th edition of CHICOS is scheduled for November 10-12 at Atlantis Paradise Island.
